Every Smart Trailer comes fully equipped with the following:

  1.  All steel construction

  2. Dual diamond plate wheel tracks with all-round 3 inch outer safety guide plates

  3.  3500 pound capacity axle and suspension on 10 foot bed with 3 foot tongue

  4.  Dual 15 inch steel wheels (white)

  5.  Dual steel locking ramps (can be removed for maintenance)

  6.  Trailer coupler for 2 inch diameter ball

  7.  Trailer jack

  8.  Safety chains (2)

  9. Tie down straps and ratchets (2)

  10.  Taillights/turn signals (2)

  11.  Electrical connection cable

  12.  Safety and convenience step, welded to fender and frame (2)

  13.  Rear jack stands (2)

  14.  Inside fender skirts (plate) to prevent road junk hitting car (2)

  15.  Paint: Black, Red, Blue

Optional Upgrades
The following individual options are available:

Electric Brakes - $175

Do I need electric brakes?  Your decision should be based on the gross towed vehicle weight for your rig.

ECE weight w/o driver 1,808 lbs (cabriolet: 1,852 lbs) 

The Smart Trailer weighs 700 lbs, so the gross towed vehicle weight is 2,508 lbs, or 2,552 for the cabriolet.

ECE Payload 507 lbs (cabriolet: 463 lbs)

The ECE Payload weights are shown only for information and if you carry a lot of stuff in your Smart. This is NOT recommended while towing.

Spare Tire - $115 - flat mounted on trailer tongue

 

Wheel Upgrade - $150 - to 15 inch polished aluminum (spoke style)

 

Aluminum Tool Box - $240 - mounted on trailer tongue.

If both tool box and spare are ordered, the spare tire is mounted on the passenger side.
